State of Hawai'i Department of Transportation – Highways Division in Kona is seeking a qualified truck operator. The role involves operating heavy trucks (5 tons+ or tank trucks over 1200 gallons), performing operational maintenance, and supporting general construction tasks.

Candidates must hold a CDL Class B with Endorsement N (Tank vehicles 1,000 gallons+), have no restrictions on E/J/L codes, and possess at least one year of relevant experience.

Formación

• Minimum one year of experience operating trucks with capacity > 1.5 tons.
• CDL Class B with Endorsement N (Tank vehicles 1,000 gallons or more).
• No restrictions for codes E, J and L at time of application.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a truck with factory-rated capacity of 5 tons or more or tank truck with capacity over 1200 gallons.
• Perform operational maintenance and assist with general construction and maintenance tasks.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.
