Job summary

West Carrollton is seeking an experienced civil engineer to serve as Assistant Service Director, assisting in leading the City’s Service Department and overseeing water/wastewater services, refuse collection, street maintenance, engineering, and construction inspection.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, a minimum of five years of related experience, and a Ohio PE license (or equivalent). The City is an equal‑opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and at least five years of related experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater services, refuse collection, street maintenance, engineering, and construction inspection.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the City’s Service Department and support the Service Director.
• Help oversee operations related to water and wastewater services, refuse collection, and street maintenance.
