Role Summary:
NSU is seeking a skilled and dependable Public Water Operator to join our Operations team and support our Cape Cod and Southern New England service area. The Public Water Operator will provide operations and maintenance support at various water facilities as directed by the Operations Supervisor, while independently managing assigned site coverage and ensuring all responsibilities are completed within the allotted time.
The ideal candidate will be an organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently and effectively manage their time across multiple sites. A valid Massachusetts T2 Full Water license is required; candidates with a valid Massachusetts T1 Full Water license who are actively working toward obtaining their T2 Full license may also be considered. Responsibilities include routine operations and maintenance, assisting with developing scopes of work, preparing work orders for repairs or resampling, responding to alarms, and communicating with clients as needed.
NSU offers an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience operating and maintaining a variety of water facilities while working directly with experienced operations professionals. This position provides opportunities to develop technical skills, work independently in the field, and build strong relationships with clients and team members.
