Job summary

Insight Global supports the Downtown West Palm Beach client by placing a Project Engineer to assist in planning, design, rehabilitation, and construction of public utility infrastructure. The role covers water, sewer, stormwater, lift stations, and related roadway improvements, with emphasis on coordination and public engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• EIT certification from FL or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• 2+ years of engineering experience in design/construction of utility infrastructure.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and rehabilitation of utility infrastructure projects.
• Prepare construction drawings, plans, specs, and technical documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and feasibility studies.
• Conduct utility project cost estimates and cost analysis.
• Assist with field investigations, data collection, and condition assessments.
• Develop engineering exhibits, maps, charts, graphs, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure City compliance and resolve design issues.
• Respond to public inquiries related to utility and engineering projects.
