City of Gainesville, Georgia is seeking part-time transit operators to safely operate buses and assist passengers along demand-response and trolley routes. You will follow schedules, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintain safety and courtesy in daily operations.

The role emphasizes customer service, timely service, and safety, with shifts including afternoon/evening hours. A Class C license and clean MVR are required or preferred, with CPR desirable.

Formación

• High School or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience operating a commercial vehicle preferred.
• Insurance requires minimum age of 21.
• Valid Class C Driver's License and satisfactory MVR; CDL not required but preferred.
• CPR certification desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Operate public transit vehicles safely and on time.
• Provide passenger assistance and excellent customer service.
• Follow schedules and report detours/incidents to supervisors.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of buses/equipment.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, and communicate with dispatch.
