The City of Cottonwood seeks a Transportation Operator to provide safe, timely public bus service for Cottonwood Area Transit. Under supervision of the Transportation Manager, you will operate a city bus in accordance with city, state, and federal regulations, and you will assist riders and maintain equipment in good working order.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement (or ability to obtain within 30 days), Level One Fingerprint

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class B with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain within 30 days of offer.
• Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required or ability to obtain.
• 39-month AZMVD motor vehicle report required on acceptance.
• Two years driving multi-passenger commercial vehicles is highly desired but not required.

• Provide public transportation to designated areas in a safe and timely manner.
• Operate a city bus in compliance with city, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure passenger safety and assist riders as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager.
