Parks Hospitality Group’s Embassy Suites Asheville Downtown is hiring a Houseperson to maintain public spaces and support housekeeping operations. You’ll prep lobbies, hallways, and shared areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and a clean, safe hotel.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Strip guest rooms by removing used linens, towels, and amenities for cleaning.
• Stock housekeeping carts with clean linens, towels, toiletries, and supplies.
• Deliver clean linens and supplies to housekeeping closets and storage areas.
• Assist with cleaning tasks in guest rooms and public areas as directed by supervision.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust furniture and fixtures in public areas.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Replenish supplies in public areas as needed.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean, hazard-free environment.
• Report maintenance issues via hotel operations software.
