Job summary

Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort in Marathon, FL seeks a detail-focused Housekeeping Associate to maintain lobby and public spaces, assist guests, and support the hotel team. The role covers cleaning, restrooms, hallways, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met.

Requirements include a high school education or equivalent and at least six months of hotel housekeeping experience, plus strong English communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and communicate in English.
• 6+ months of housekeeping experience in a hotel environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean lobby, public areas, restrooms, hallways and elevators.
• Stock supply cart and keep it neat and organized.
• Check all equipment prior to and after use.
• Greet and respond to hotel guests in a friendly manner.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways and public areas.
• Report hazards to Safety/Security.
• Provide safety guidance in emergencies.
• Support other departments to maintain hotel standards.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
