Job summary

Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort in Marathon, FL is seeking a dependable Houseperson to support daily housekeeping operations. You will maintain clean public areas, assist Room Attendants with linens and supplies, and help with heavier cleaning and furniture-moving tasks.

The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced resort setting, with flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Dependable and able to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Friendly and professional when interacting with guests and team members.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Public Area Cleaning: clean and maintain resort public areas, restrooms, hallways, and foyers.
• Guest Service: greet guests, respond to questions, provide directions, and relay requests.
• Safety & Resort Standards: identify maintenance and safety concerns; follow procedures; attend meetings and trainings.
• Move and arrange furniture as needed and assist with deep cleaning and special projects.
• Assist Room Attendants and other housekeeping team members during peak periods to ensure efficient operations.
