Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a Floor Houseperson for the Hampton Inn & Suites Destin, located in Destin, Florida. You will support daily housekeeping by cleaning public areas, restocking supplies, and ensuring safety standards are met to create a welcoming guest environment.

The role requires flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, with potential for growth within the Shaner Hotels family. Prior hotel cleaning experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean hotel public areas as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures.
