One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking a Public Space Housekeeper professional to join the team.

Job Summary:

The Public Space Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance and sanitation of all public areas through the Inn. The Public Space Housekeeper helps ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors.

Job Specifications:

• Expected Pay Range: Starting $21.00 per hour
  • The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full-time year round
  • PM shift is 6am-2pmpm, weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of all work areas and resort public spaces.
• Deliver amenities such as towels, cots, cribs, and other items to guest rooms.
• Clean glass surfaces, windows, mirrors, and doors.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust resort public spaces.

Job Requirements:

• Prior housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow direction and stay on task.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
• Ability to work with chemical cleaning agents.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
