Job summary

Westwood Professional Services in Houston, TX, invites applications for a Landscape Architecture Intern to join a design team working on streetscape, park, and civic space projects for public infrastructure clients. Qualifications

Currently enrolled in undergraduate Landscape Architecture program.
Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and design teams.
Willingness to learn in a cross-disciplinary environment.
Able to attend site visits and work outdoors when required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Assist with site plans, grading concepts, planting plans, and hardscape details.
Support development of graphics, renderings, and presentation materials.
Research design guidelines, zoning, and ADA standards to inform design.
Understand client interests and address community concerns.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure communication and progress.
Travel to project sites to gather field data and interact with clients.
