Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Landscape Architecture Intern to join a design team supporting streetscape, park, trail, and civic space projects for public infrastructure clients.

You will help shape communities through public realm improvements and apply coursework to real-world spaces. You will learn to apply ADA guidelines and local design manuals while assisting Senior Landscape Architects with site plans, planting plans, and construction details; plus build proficiency in

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate Landscape Architecture program.
• Effective verbal and written communication; professional interaction with clients and design team.
• Willingness to learn in a flexible, cross-disciplinary environment.
• Willingness to attend site visits and work outdoors when needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site plans, grading concepts, planting and hardscape details.
• Support design graphics, renderings, and presentation materials.
• Research design guidelines, zoning and ADA standards for design input.
• Develop understanding of client interests and community concerns.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to ensure progress.
• Travel to project sites to collect field data and interface with clients.
