Job summary

Battle House Hotel and Spa in Mobile, AL is seeking a dynamic Housekeeping Attendant to uphold our standard of guest-ready spaces and public areas.

Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of public areas, replacing linen and towels, vacuuming and dusting, restocking supplies, and ensuring bathrooms meet our high standards.

You will respond promptly to guest requests, communicate clearly, and report maintenance needs to Housekeeping Management; bending and lifting are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of public areas including lobbies and corridors.
• Replace linen and towels, vacuum, dust, and restock guest supplies.
• Clean bathrooms to high standards.
• Notify Housekeeping Management or Engineering of maintenance needs.

• Physical duties including bending and lifting.

Job Description:

Thorough cleaning of public areas consists of replacing all linen and towels, vacuuming and dusting, replacing guest supplies, and thorough bathroom cleaning. Notifies the Housekeeping Management or the Engineering Department of any maintenance or repair that needs to be done. Must be very responsive to guest requests and be able to communicate easily with them. Bending and lifting are part of the job.
