This position is a rate case analyst within Research and Policy section of the Commissioner's Staff. Duties Include the oversight and management of assigned dockets; finance, economic, accounting, research/policy analysis of Issues within assigned dockets, including both extensive written product and recommendations and guidance to Commissioners; collaborative efforts with the head legal assigned to each docket, or supportive effort of an ALJ assigned to dockets; and works on Commission's RTO team.

The Public Service Rate Case Analyst I is an entry-level professional responsible for analyzing utility rate cases, financial data, and regulatory filings to ensure fair and reasonable rates for Arkansas consumers. Working under the direction of senior analysts and regulatory staff, this role involves reviewing utility company filings, conducting economic and financial research, and preparing reports and recommendations for commission proceedings.
At least three years of experience in rate analysis, financial analysis, economic forecasting, or a related field.
