Job summary

Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services seeks a Long Term Care Reimbursement Analyst to lead Statewide LTC reimbursement initiatives. You will coordinate with agency staff, develop reimbursement databases, and analyze policy issues impacting payments and program integrity.

The role requires a four-year degree and at least three years of administrative experience, plus knowledge of Medicaid and statistical software.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree, preferably in business or public administration.
• Requires three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
• Three years of experience with Statistical Software Suite, SQL, BiQuery, Excel or similar software.
• Two years of experience with Medicaid reimbursement.
• Three or more years of experience analyzing large data sets to develop policies and inform decision making.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage the Statewide Long-Term Care Reimbursement Program.
• Serve as liaison to agency staff on LTC reimbursement program maintenance.
• Develop databases for Long-Term Care reimbursement.
• Research and evaluate issues related to reimbursement.
• Perform other duties within the scope of the job.
