Genesis Management and Insurance Services Corporation (Genesis) seeks an experienced Underwriting Division Manager to lead our public entity and education underwriting team, overseeing pricing, strategy, and profitability for our U.S. operations.

The role reports to the CEO and collaborates with USD, actuarial, and contracts teams. The position is hybrid with in-office presence required at least three days weekly in Stamford, CT (or other listed offices).

Qualifications

• Minimum fifteen years casualty re/insurance experience with prior leadership experience.
• Knowledge of public entity and education markets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Genesis team of underwriters.
• Lead underwriting strategy and pricing for public entity and education segments.
• Represent Genesis at internal and external conferences.
• Oversee business planning and long-term profitability goals.
• Coordinate with senior management, claims, USD, and related services.
• Attract and develop a high-performing team.
• Develop relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and clients.
