Job summary

Elastic seeks a Solutions Architect to act as technical authority for sales teams, customers, and partners within the public sector. You will understand customers’ goals, articulate how Elastic Stack meets their needs, and drive value-based relationships across organizations.

You will engage in all phases from discovery to technical wins, mentor teams, and enable partners while continuously refining your sales and technical skills through Elastic's programs and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical presales for public sector environments.
• Ability to articulate business value of platforms and technologies.
• Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Proven track record of customer relationship success and delivering architectural outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and drive consensus.
• Inspiring others; capable of leading groups of varying sizes.
• Willingness to travel ~30% regionally and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact for accounts and account managers in your territory.
• Understand customer goals and articulate how Elastic solutions address them.
• Build value-based relationships at all levels of customer organizations.
• Lead planning and execution across the territory from discovery to win.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Elastic products to demonstrate value in meetings and events.
• Advise sales on effective positioning of Elastic offerings.
• Onboard and enable partners, supporting them through sales cycles.
• Create collateral and collaborate with the Elastic team to meet client needs.
• Represent customer/community needs to engineering and leadership.
