Job summary

FUNDVIEW is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to join our team supporting municipal clients across FUNDVIEW's core solution areas, including General Ledger/Accounts Payable, Utility Billing, Municipal Court, and Payroll. You’ll troubleshoot issues, maintain accurate data, and stay aligned with public sector compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 1–3 years of experience with cloud-based or enterprise software in GL/AP, Utility Billing, Payroll, or Municipal Court.
• Working knowledge of fund accounting, invoicing, billing cycles, or tax withholding and wage compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear guidance.
• Customer-first mindset with experience supporting external clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks amid interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support to municipal customers via phone, email, and tickets.
• Troubleshoot issues in GL/AP, Utility Billing, Municipal Court, or Payroll.
• Educate users on product features and updates.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering/Delivery, and QA teams on issues.
• Maintain detailed case documentation and KB articles.
• Assist with onboarding and training for new customers.
• Stay current on public sector standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify recurring trends to inform product improvements.
