Job summary

Greystone is seeking an attorney to fill the Real Estate Counsel position for our Boston team serving MBTA and MassDOT. The role focuses on drafting and negotiating leases, licenses, easements, deeds and related documents, ensuring procurement law compliance and closings coordination.

You will join a team with 3+ years in commercial real estate, including leases and conveyancing, and a preference for public entity experience and knowledge of MA procurement laws. Based in Boston, Back Bay office.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (ABA-accredited) with 3+ years’ experience in commercial real estate, including leasing and conveyancing.
• Experience working with public entity clients is a plus.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts public procurement laws is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate real estate documents including leases, licenses, easements, deeds.
• Ensure public procurement law compliance and coordinate closings.
• Prepare transaction summaries and perform legal research.
