Job summary

CSG Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Specialist to manage proposal development and content across California public agency opportunities. You will lead multi-project efforts, collaborate with SMEs, and refine proposal content and templates to meet client and brand standards.

The role requires strong writing and editing skills, experience with B2G markets, and the ability to work across multiple offices in a fast-paced environment. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in English, Marketing, Journalism or Communications.
• 3–5 years of marketing and proposal experience, preferably in B2G and A/E/C.
• Strong editing, writing, and content organization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review solicitations to identify required content and elements.
• Lead kickoff meetings, track addenda, manage schedules and communications.
• Collaborate with SMEs to develop win themes and messaging.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for narratives and forms.
• Draft, review, and finalize proposals for approvals.
• Proofread, edit, format, and produce final proposals.
• Ensure content aligns with templates, brands, and standards.
• Contribute to process improvements and post-proposal reviews.
• Assist with presentations and leave-behinds for interviews.
