Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Required: 2+ years building and deploying data science or ML solutions.
• Required: 2+ years of research using statistics, data science, and ML.
• Required: Ability to travel 15-20% on average.
• Required: US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development using programming, statistics, and ML in federal healthcare space.
• Translate Medicare policy into statistical and ML approaches for production model design and deployment.
• Build, validate, tune, and operationalize predictive models with attention to bias, leakage, generalization, and performance.
• Develop production-quality Python code and ML pipelines that are tested, documented, version-controlled, and scalable for large data volumes.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, subject-matter experts, and government stakeholders to communicate model performance, limitations, and methodology.
