Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an Analytics and Insights Engineer III to join the AI & Data team in the United States. You will conduct research, develop ML models for federal healthcare, and translate policy into deployable solutions.

You will build production-grade Python code and collaborate across engineers, analysts, and government stakeholders to ensure auditability and knowledge transfer. You will lead projects, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and communicate clearly about model

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, OR Operations Research or another quantitative field
• 2+ years of experience building and deploying data science or machine learning solutions
• 2+ years of experience conducting research using statistical methods, data science, and machine learning
• Ability to travel 15-20%, based on client engagement
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development using programming, statistics, and machine learning in the federal healthcare space
• Translate Medicare policy and operational problems into statistical and machine learning approaches
• Build, validate, tune, and operationalize predictive models with attention to bias, leakage, generalization, and performance
• Develop production-quality Python code and ML pipelines tested, documented, version-controlled, and scalable
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, subject-matter experts, and government stakeholders to communicate model performance and methodology
