Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of internal auditing, governmental auditing, or risk management experience.
• Experience with data analytics tools, ERP/financial systems, and audit software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas.
• Evaluate internal controls, policies, procedures, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide independent assessments that support transparency, accountability, and efficiency across City operations.
• May perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Finance or City Council.
