Job summary

Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) seeks an Investment Associate in PSC1 (Public Sector Clients Department, Region 1) to support project preparation, execution, and client relationship management for infrastructure investments in South Asia, South East Asia, the Pacific, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

The role requires strong financial analysis, coordination across departments, and experience in international project finance.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills are required.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in corporate finance, project finance, or credit in a multinational or development bank is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on country economic and sectoral issues.
• Carry out economic and technical assessments of sector infrastructure projects.
• Review sector infrastructure feasibility studies.
• Support early screening of potential investment opportunities.
• Assist in investment due diligence and in financing structure documentation.
• Prepare project documents for approval and assist in structuring transactions.
• Monitor investments and support team in achieving targets.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by project team leaders.
