• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, public admin, legal studies, or related field.
• Minimum of three years HR experience in employment-law compliance, policy development or administration, wage-and-hour compliance.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and modernization of HR policies and practices while monitoring employment law changes.
• Partner with the City Attorney’s Office and stakeholders to support compliance.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure consistent application of HR policy.
• Develop and deliver training and resources for managers on HR policies and compliance.
• Conduct reviews and audits of HR practices and maintain records for improvement.
