Job summary

The County of San Diego is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead HR initiatives within the Health and Human Services Agency. You will oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, payroll, diversity and inclusion, HR data and reporting, and personnel policies.

The ideal candidate will have public-sector HR experience, strong strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders; telework and in-office options may be available after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of professional HR experience with 2 years in a supervisory role; or 9 years of HR experience with 2 years in a supervisory role.
