Job summary

Vanta is seeking a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Expert, GTM - V4G, to lead public-sector GRC conversations with federal frameworks like FedRAMP and NIST. You will partner with Sales, Account Management, and Solutions Engineering to drive scoping, policy creation, and tailored product recommendations.

The role emphasizes pre-sales and marketing motions, with opportunities to present at events and shape product features for government customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of US government compliance experience, including FedRAMP Ready/Authorized or 3PAO work.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-53/800-171, and StateRAMP dynamics.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and SOC 2 baseline frameworks.
• Experience with SSP/POA&M creation and ConMon operations.
• Ability to translate GRC concepts into product features and customer outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advise on scoping, policy creation, and control requirements across FedRAMP, GovRAMP, TX-RAMP, NIST, and CMMC 2.0.
• Lead public-sector GRC discussions with Sales, AM, and Solutions Engineering teams.
• Develop public-sector GRC marketing content and customer education materials.
• Represent Vanta in webinars, panels, and conferences; support marketing efforts.
