Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a manager-level professional to support project delivery for Intelligence Community agencies. You will guide in financial management, accounting, budget, audit readiness, data analysis, and business process improvements while partnering with Public Sector leadership to drive business development and solution delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, required or preferred.
• Four (4) or more years of accounting, finance, business, operations, technology, management, or analysis experience, required.
• Experience with FIAR guidance, USSGL, FASAB, CFO Act, FMFIA, FFMIA, ICOFR, GAO Green Book, COSO, OMB Circulars preferred.
• Experience with pricing, cash management, PP&E, inventory, and related property preferred.
• Experience with financial statement audits, audit readiness, and corrective actions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers a full range of services using education, experience, and organizational skills for public sector clients.
• Supports firm practice, solution, and business development initiatives.
• Coordinates strategy, planning, execution, status, and review with engagement teams and client leadership.
• Assists clients with financial, budgetary, IT, and operational transformation initiatives.
• Adapts to changing client environments while meeting expectations.
• Manages priorities and multi-task coordination across efforts.
• Prepares summaries and recommendations for leadership and work streams.
• Applies industry standards to support reviews, improvements, or implementations.
• Maintains relationships with client personnel to align processes and functions.
• Prepares presentations and participates in client meetings and day-to-day interactions.
