Job summary

The Florida Department of Corrections is seeking a data analytics professional to manage and analyze maintenance and construction data at Suwannee Correctional Institution in Live Oak, FL. The role requires strong Excel skills and experience in KPI development.

The position is not a telework role and requires reporting to the designated FDC office. A background in data reporting and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in business management, accounting, finance, communications, writing, or related field; or six years of professional experience.
• At least ten years of experience in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and macros.
• Experience in data analysis and creating KPIs for at least three years.

Responsibilities

• Data management and analysis of maintenance activities, construction projects, resource utilization, and performance metrics.
• Develop and implement tracking systems for real-time visibility into operations; use Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Generate regular reports, insights, and correspondence; analyze financial, contract, and budget data to recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Provide training and support on analytics tools and tracking systems; solve problems and guide decision-making.
