Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; emergency management, accounting, business, construction management or related area is a plus.
• 1-3 years of disaster-related grants or related disaster response and recovery work.
• Familiarity with federal and state disaster recovery requirements.
• Ability to interpret and apply federal regulations to specific scenarios.
• Strong client focus and professional demeanor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to build client relationships.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Willingness to travel within the state and work onsite as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and program requirements.
• Make recommendations on cost eligibility and recovery strategies.
• Communicate with federal, state, and local partners.
• Provide administrative support for project activities.
• Attend meetings with federal, state, and local partners.
• Provide guidance on program requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Identify and resolve programmatic issues.
• Coordinate recovery activities with multiple government partners.
• Provide technical assistance and support as needed.
• Review and process reimbursement requests in line with 2 CFR Part 200.
