Job summary

Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System (IPERS) seeks a Digital Content Creator to join the Strategy Division. You will develop resources educating IPERS’ 450,000 members about their retirement plan and craft a content strategy that uses modern digital assets to elevate communications across channels.

You will collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer and a small team, managing projects from concept through delivery, while ensuring accessibility and audience reach across diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Degree in journalism, public relations, graphic design, or communications and 4 years of content planning and development experience across traditional media, websites, and social channels.
• Equivalently, 4 years of content experience plus 30 semester hours equivalent education.
• Postgraduate coursework in journalism, PR, graphic design, or communications may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic resources that educate IPERS’ 450,000 members about their retirement plan.
• Create and implement a content strategy to elevate IPERS’ communications with modern digital assets.
