Job summary

Google Public Sector is seeking a senior Customer Engineer specializing in Data Analytics to partner with technical sales teams and accelerate adoption of complex workloads. You will design data foundation architectures and MVPs, solving analytics challenges while engaging with executives and customers across Reston and DC regions.

You will collaborate with Platform CEs and GTM to create reusable solutions, document feature requests, and influence product direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Experience with Big Data technologies (analytics warehousing, data processing, data migrations, ETL/ELT, SQL, Spark).
• Experience using programming languages to design demos, prototypes, or workshops for customers.
• Experience developing data warehousing, data lakes, batch/real-time processing, data visualization, and data governance on cloud native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical win for complex data analytics workloads with the customer.
• Combine business strategies with direct development and prototyping to deliver customer-tailored solutions.
• Provide deep technical consultation to customers, acting as a technical advisor and building lasting relationships.
• Leverage learnings from customer engagements to create reusable assets with the Go-To-Market team.
• Provide critical feedback from customer engagements to product and engineering teams to improve architectures and solutions.
