Job summary

Guidacent, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist to drive data collection, validation, and workbook development for a cost of service study.

You will organize data across financial, HR, contracts, licensing, and infrastructure, ensuring traceability to agency records and preparing reports and executive exhibits. You will collaborate with the Principal Consultant to support cost model development, data gaps identification, and reporting outputs for fully loaded service costs and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a finance, accounting, analytics, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in financial/data analysis, reporting, or BI.
• Strong experience with financial, operational, staffing, vendor, contract, or budget data.
• Advanced Excel including formulas, pivots, lookups, data validation, and modeling support.
• Experience collecting, cleaning, validating, reconciling, and documenting complex datasets.
• Ability to translate raw data into clear analytical outputs, tables, summaries, and reporting exhibits.
• Strong attention to detail and traceability from sources to deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection, validation, reconciliation, workbook development, and reporting for public sector Cost of Service Study.
• Develop structured Excel workbooks, support cost model development, and organize source data.
• Identify data gaps, document assumptions, and ensure analysis traceability to agency records.
• Support service-level cost models and analysis of direct/indirect/overhead costs.
• Prepare tables, charts, summaries, and exhibits for reports and executive materials.
