Golin Ketchum is seeking an Associate Creative Director, Copywriter to join our Public Sector & Government team. You will craft content, develop concepts, and shape copy for client needs across social and long-form work, ensuring alignment with brand voice and strategy.

You’ll lead editorial planning, write for platforms like X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and collaborate with the creative team to deliver cohesive campaigns. A 7+ year background in public health writing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional writing experience in public health on major social platforms.
• Excellent writing, copyediting, and proofreading across topics and channels.
• Strong grasp of social platforms' capabilities, trends, and best practices.
• Proven portfolio of social content writing for diverse campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Create content, copy, and editorial calendars for client needs.
• Develop copy direction and contribute to conceptual work and strategy.
• Draft social content and longer-form materials (blogs, website content, scripts).
• Support social playbooks, personas, brand voice & tone, response scripts.
• Collaborate with creative team to ensure cohesive visuals and copy.
• Translate trends and metrics into accessible new business presentations.
• Handle additional duties and project management as assigned.
