Job summary

BerryDunn is offering a Consulting Intern position in the Parks, Recreation and Libraries team within our Local Government Practice Group, based in Portland, Maine. You will gain exposure to the consulting process, assist with engagements, and work under supervision on project tasks while learning BerryDunn systems and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BA/BS/MS/degree program in a related field, demonstrating academic progress.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and comfortable with standard software.
• Demonstrated writing and communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Willingness and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the general consulting process in local government.
• Assist in performing consulting engagements of all sizes.
• Assist with project management tasks such as tracking and reporting progress, research, file management, and quality assurance of deliverables.
• Follow diagnostic, data collection, fact-finding, and data analysis practices.
• Keep supervisors informed of project status and progress.
