The City of Dallas is seeking a Budget Analyst to assist in developing, preparing and administering the departmental budget, providing financial analysis and monitoring for effective oversight. The role supports capital projects, grants, and trust programs while coordinating with city departments and auditors.

You will prepare routine reports, analyze expenditures, and help ensure compliance with city policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required: accounting/public administration/finance/business.
• Three (3) years of experience in financial analysis, budget planning/monitoring or professional accounting.
• Must have PC skills for spreadsheet analysis and report preparation.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing the annual operating budget including capital, grants, and trust programs.
• Create financial models, forecasting, and trend analyses to support management decisions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost, performance, and revenue reports.
