Sjcbar seeks an Attorney I to provide legal recommendations to the Board, Executive team, and staff. You will advise divisions and act as an Administrative Hearing Officer on victim appeals and Erroneously Convicted Felon claims.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently or in a team, and familiarity with PRA and IPA. Membership in the California State Bar is required.

Qualificações

• Must be a member of the California State Bar.
• Experience with administrative adjudicatory bodies is required.
• Knowledge of state contracting processes and civil litigation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal recommendations to Board members, Executive team, and staff.
• Advise Administration Division, Victim Compensation Program, and Revenue Recovery Branch.
• Serve as Administrative Hearing Officer for victim appeals and Erroneously Convicted Felon claims.
• Collaborate with staff and public at all levels; communicate clearly.
