Manatee County Government seeks an Assistant County Attorney to join the County Attorney's Office in Bradenton, FL. Ideal candidates hold a JD, are admitted to the Florida Bar, and bring experience across government, land use, labor and procurement matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
• Florida Bar member in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assists in delivering legal services to the Board and County Administrator.
• Drafts and negotiates leases, licenses, contracts, franchise agreements and similar documents.
• Litigates or supervises litigation before state or federal courts and administrative bodies.
