Job summary

EY in Hoboken, NJ, invites you to join the Government and Infrastructure Assurance practice as an analyst. You will serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, gaining knowledge on current issues and building relationships with team members while delivering high-quality assurance services.

We seek a bachelor’s or graduate degree with ~1 year of related experience, a degree in Accounting/Finance, and the ability to obtain secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree and approximately 1 year of related work experience
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Must be able to obtain and maintain secret clearance or higher
• Sufficient course work to achieve CPA certification upon passing the examination
• Excellent project management skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Dedication to teamwork and leadership
• Travel 25% to 30% in a hybrid environment

Responsibilities

• Be the primary day-to-day contact for clients and develop knowledge by learning about current issues relevant to the client's industry
• Build relationships and expertise with team members
• Recognize potential audit issues from analysis of financial statements and communicate them to the assurance team
• Document the execution of audit procedures as defined by engagement objectives and plans
• Collaborate with assurance team members to set goals and responsibilities
• Contribute ideas and respond to other team members' views
• Stay informed of current business/economic developments relevant to the client's business
• Use technology to learn and share knowledge and enhance service delivery
• Bring potential opportunities to the assurance team's attention
