Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking an AI Solutions Analyst to design, deliver, and monitor AI-enabled solutions for state government environments. You will translate policy and program needs into structured requirements and bridge client-facing work with hands-on system performance analysis.

The role requires strong business analysis, basic statistics, and hands-on prompt tuning for LLM-based systems, focusing on performance, cost, and explainability within enterprise constraints.

Qualifications

• Translate policy and operational workflows into structured requirements.
• Lead client requirements sessions and discovery discussions.
• Analyze evaluation results using basic statistics to identify underperformance.
• Iterate on prompts/instructions for LLM-based systems in production or near-production settings.
• Understand AI system behavior, limitations, and context/cost tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement & Requirements Facilitation: Support and lead client requirements sessions and discovery discussions; Translate policy and operational workflows into structured requirements; Serve as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams.
• AI Solution Design & Tuning: Support design of AI-enabled solutions and define use cases; Develop and document AI workflows; Design evaluation test sets; Analyze evaluation results; Iterate on prompts and instructions; Identify tradeoffs.
• Delivery & Operations Support: Support broader program operations, process design, and cross-workstream coordination to scale delivery.
