Guidehouse is seeking a Data Engineer to join our AI & Data Practice in Tysons, VA. You will collect, transform, and analyze data to support DHS Financial Management programs, enabling informed decision-making across finance and IT systems.

You will work with SQL, Python, R, and Databricks to build data pipelines, perform quality assurance, and implement governance. Collaboration with clients and internal teams is essential for data-driven success.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust
• Bachelor's degree or higher with 3+ years of data experience
• Experience in performing data analytics to address management and operational challenges
• Proficiency in data analytic tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Databricks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Prior experience with statistical analysis, predictive modelling, machine learning, and AI

Responsibilities

• Access data sources and develop ingestion and integration solutions
• Aggregate, clean and organize datasets from disparate sources
• Design data integration, mapping and standardization frameworks
• Manipulate large datasets using SQL, Python, and Databricks
• Design data models and perform predictive analytics and ML
• Ensure data governance and quality
• Lead client meetings and document actions
• Support business development and internal initiatives
