Zusammenfassung

Hymans Robertson seeks an Associate Actuarial Consultant to join our Actuarial Public team supporting LGPS funds and public sector clients. You will work across actuarial and consulting work, building technical expertise, and developing client relationships.

You will help manage a portfolio of LGPS authorities, contribute to valuations and funding discussions, and grow your consulting and leadership skills within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifikationen

• Progress toward actuarial qualification (IFoA)
• Pensions actuarial work experience preferred
• Strong technical actuarial skills and modelling capability
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Interest in LGPS and public sector pensions

Aufgaben

• Act as client coordinator across accounts, delivering on time and within budget
• Prepare and check actuarial calculations including valuations and disclosures
• Develop client communications, reports and presentations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and understand client objectives
• Coach and support junior colleagues and contribute to process improvements
