gobravvo in Los Angeles is seeking a Construction Project Manager (CCM) to lead high-visibility public sector capital programs. You will oversee planning, entitlement, design, procurement, and construction execution while coordinating with district officials, consultants, and regulators.

The role requires deep public works experience, strong governance, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with large budgets. A CCM certification is preferred within the first year.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large capital projects in public sector settings.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and change controls.
• Strong communication with district, consultants, and regulators.
• Knowledge of public works processes, CM and contract administration.
• Eligibility to obtain CCM certification within one year.

Responsabilités

• Direct and manage multiple large-scale construction projects, ensuring scope, budget and schedule adherence.
• Act as primary liaison between district representatives, leadership, consultants, contractors, and regulators.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule integrity.
• Review, negotiate, and manage change orders with cost and timeline impact.
• Administer contracts for architects, engineers, and partners per public agency rules.
• Monitor project financials: budget, forecasting, cost controls, payments.
• Resolve complex construction issues, disputes, and claims per policies.
• Support procurement and bidding: bid packages and contractor evaluations.
• Coordinate with Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities Planning, Asset Management, Inspection, and O&M.
• Maintain documentation and audit readiness per public agency protocols.
• Provide direction to Owner’s Authorized Representatives (OARs) and staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by applying best practices.
