Job summary

Tarrant County College District (TCCD) is seeking a Coordinator for the Public Safety Training Center at the Northwest Campus. The role focuses on daily operations, program support, and alignment with TCC policies, TCFP standards, and professional benchmarks for fire service education.

Responsibilities include managing complex training programs, instructor scheduling, facility and equipment oversight, and building partnerships with regional fire departments and training partners.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 60 college credit hours and six (6) years’ related experience, or equivalent combination
• Knowledge of public safety training operations and regulatory requirements
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate resources effectively

Responsibilities

• Administers and supports complex public safety training programs ensuring compliance with TCC policies, TC FP standards, and accreditation requirements
• Maintains knowledge of TC FP rules and certification requirements; ensures proper documentation and records
• Oversees instructor scheduling, course assignments, credentials, training, and student enrollment to support program delivery
• Provides operational oversight of training center facilities, equipment readiness, safety compliance and resource allocation
• Manages asset management for PPE, training props, and other resources; identifies needs and implements solutions
• Establishes relationships with regional fire departments, agencies, and external partners to support operations and partnerships
• Supports students and department leadership, including Rookie Day classes, program planning and quality improvement
