Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Public Safety Training Specialist to coordinate system-wide safety training across all hospitals and offsite locations. You will deliver standardized programs on workplace violence prevention to clinical and non-clinical staff, while maintaining high-quality instruction and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Safety or Security experience with 2+ years in a training or leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate's Degree required and/or
• IAHSS Basic Level Certification, Crisis Prevention Institute certifications, Taser Instructor and related trainings are preferred
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Deliver standardized Public Safety and workplace violence prevention training programs across all Endeavor Health hospital and offsite locations.
• Facilitate scenario-based training for diverse audiences and adapt delivery to learner needs.
• Promote a culture of safety and engage staff in prevention initiatives.
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment for adult learners.
• Participate in drills, exercises, and post-event reviews to inform future training.
• Model best practices in de-escalation, communication and situational awareness.
• Maintain instructor certifications and deliver courses per standards and safety protocols.
• Coordinate training schedules, logistics, travel and staff participation across sites.
