Job summary

Boston Medical Center Health System (BMCHS) is seeking a Manager of Training, Standards & Compliance within its Public Safety department in the Boston area. Qualifications

• BA/BS in Criminal Justice or related field.
• Instructor certification in healthcare safety or public safety disciplines, or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience leading training, policy, compliance, or quality improvement programs in healthcare.
• Experience supervising staff and leading organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual training strategies and ensure documentation of required training and competency assessments.
• Direct Workplace Violence Prevention training and ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and documentation for inspections and surveys.
• Lead quality improvement and professional standards initiatives and recommend corrective actions or training.
• Provide leadership and supervision for the training function and oversee instructors and subject matter experts.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness training and drills with Emergency Preparedness for system-wide readiness.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and development of Public Safety personnel and special projects.
