Job summary

Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community is seeking a non-sworn Public Safety Systems Support role to monitor CAD and in-progress video, deploy and operate UAS, and support officers during priority calls for service and emergencies. The role requires FAA Part 107 familiarity and the ability to coordinate with multiple public safety units.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
• 2 years experience in law enforcement, public safety, emergency communications, or aviation/UAS operations.
• 5 years experience using computers and technology to enter/retrieve information.
• Experience in time-sensitive environments requiring accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CAD and in-progress video feeds to aid responding personnel.
• Operate UAS and serve as PIC when assigned, ensuring FAA/compliance.
• Maintain readiness of UAS equipment, batteries, and software; schedule maintenance.
• Document activity and prepare supplemental reports and logs as required.
• Coordinate training and readiness for public safety systems and UAS operations.
