The UC Irvine Police Department provides public safety and law enforcement services 24/7 for the UCI Irvine campus and properties, including the UCI Health Network (Orange, Irvine, Fountain Valley, Lakewood, Los Alamitos, Placentia-Linda, and designated clinics).
The Police Department's Health Division employs a hybrid model with Police Officers, Public Safety Ambassadors, Responders, Supervisors, and Site Supervisors, working together to safeguard the university community and visitors.
Site Public Safety Supervisors oversee safety teams at one of four Community Network Hospital locations, providing 24/7 coverage. They supervise shifts directly and provide overall site supervision and monitoring.
The Supervisor reports to a Police Sergeant and manages all security operations at the designated hospital, including staffing, scheduling, training, incident response, and liaison with hospital administration and law enforcement.
Includes background checks, legal work authorization, vaccination, and compliance with university policies.
