Job summary

Qualifications

• Acceptable working knowledge of Texas Penal Code, Traffic Code, and Family Law.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently, analyze problems and develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Patrol County Parks and public beaches to protect life and property.
• Enforce federal and state laws and County ordinances.
• Respond to emergencies and operate an emergency vehicle.
• Testify in court as required by law.
• Arrest and incarcerate violators and detain prisoners as ordered.
